Walk under a 200-foot stone arch to Lace Falls
Natural Bridge in Rockbridge County, Virginia, is a stone arch more than 200 feet high (Virginia DCR lists 200 feet; other sources say 215) over Cedar Creek. It is a National Historic Landmark and now a state park. The Cedar Creek Trail starts at the visitor center, goes right under the bridge, and continues past a recreated Monacan village and the Lost River to Lace Falls. The trail is accessible as far as the Monacan village.

We visited in April 2022 with the redbuds in bloom and our pup in tow. Standing under the arch and looking up is something photos never quite capture.
