Waves, clouds and a balcony view
Our first trip to the beach on the blog was a short stay in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in May 2018. Myrtle Beach sits in the middle of the Grand Strand, which the local visitor bureau bills as 60 miles of beaches, and its oceanfront boardwalk opened in 2010.
We were up early to watch the sun come up through the clouds over the Atlantic, with the beach almost empty below us.
